Rory Thomas is a London-based singer-songwriter, visual artist and poet.

Presently, Rory is operating as a solo artist and is exploring a sound he calls SLUSH. SLUSH is a form of low-fidelity, confessional pop music that takes influences from the post-punk and new-wave artists of the late 1970s and early 1980s, as well as more contemporary rock, pop and hip hop.

Sonically, Rory likes to keep his arrangements minimalist and focus attention on the vocal. Catchy hooks, kitsch synths, choppy guitars and a darkly romantic lyrical style are the order of the day. Rory's music is evocative and atmospheric, but still firmly grounded in the pop genre.

Rory's visual art style mimics his low-fidelity, DIY approach to music. He explores crude graphics, bold symbolism and a distinctively grunge look that deals with emotional and existential themes in his paintings and drawings and digital pieces.
